At Planting Hope we like to work on a verity of construction projects but our specialty is flatwork, retaining walls, and fencing. We like to work with natural stone for flat work and retaining walls because it always comes out unique, but we also like to build, and have built, many modern concrete patios and retaining walls. Whatever you’d like to see in your landscape just ask and we will do our best to give you what you want.

  • Modern Concrete Patio

    This was a completely new install, this project required us to level the ground beneath the patio, add and compact gravel, build each concrete square its own frame, and then pour concrete with 4 in’ slump with wire mesh.

  • Cedar Fence

    This fence was a completely new build. We set pressure treated posts in post holes dug 2 feet deep filled with concrete. Then we used cedar boards to build the entire fence and used Z max fence brackets so that in the future sections of the fence can be taken out with ease for any reason

  • Flagstone Walkway

    This flagstone walk way was basically a new build, we ended up reusing some of the old flagstone from the previous walkway. We had to re level the whole area and compact gravel. Then we hammered each flagstone piece to interlock with each other. All that’s left to do is seal the flagstone and add moss rocks around it.

  • Railroad Tie Stairway

    There was an existing stairway before we installed this new one but we had to buy all new lumber and had to relevel all the way up. We then filled all the space between the ties with gravel and added new boulders to border the stairway.
